How to Clean Dispensing Machine Nozzles
2025-11-03
If the dispensing nozzle of a dispensing machine is not cleaned for a long time, it will rust, which affects the normal dispensing operation and leads to poor dispensing results. So how to clean the dispensing machine nozzle?
The wear or clogging of the dispensing machine nozzle has a particularly significant impact on dispensing quality. High temperature, long-term lack of cleaning, curing or semi-curing of glue, and the easy drying of high thermal conductivity molten glue are all likely to cause clogging of the dispensing tip.
Commonly used tools include air guns, fine tungsten wires and molybdenum wires (with a diameter of 0.15mm for fine ones). An ultrasonic cleaning machine can be prepared if budget permits.
Cleaning Methods
Soaking the needle in a compatible solvent is a common method. Common solvents include toluene, alcohol and acetone.
Simply relying on soaking to remove all uncured materials is inefficient. High-pressure spray with a compatible solvent can be used to blow the glue out of the inner hole of the needle.
Then blow the inner hole with dry compressed air to dry the needle.
Notes
Do not wait until the glue dries to clean the nozzle; regular maintenance is the key.
Try to use environmentally friendly solvents for cleaning. Toxic and volatile solvents will pollute the environment and are harmful to human health.
